Torch Awards Program

Leadership & Service to Chapter and Community

Business Professionals of America’s Torch Awards Program recognizes members for completing activities that enhance their professionalism, leadership and skills that will be valuable in future careers.

Students complete activities in the seven Torch categories then log their activities in an online Torch Resume, a valuable record of leadership & service activities which many members use in their search for college applications, scholarships and job searches.

Torch Awards Program

Each activity is worth 5, 10, 15, or 20 points. Members can achieve four levels of recognition – from the chapter level to the national level – by earning the required number of points in each category and submitting their resume to the coordinator by the stated deadline. Refer to the chart below for more information.
